The program of Combined signal analysis is used for additional processing of different physiological signals, obtained during long-term recording
(with the help of portable Electroencephalograph
and additional compander of polygraphic channels),- EEG, ultra-slow cerebral activity, ECG, impedance plethysmography, GSR, EMG, respiration, temperature, SPO2, etc.
For convenience of visual analysis of multi-type physiological signals an original method of phased cardio-cyclic presentation and stage-by-stage dynamics is used (connected with functional tests, optional sampling of record fragments, or defined time periods with specified level of time compression).
Such compressed way of presentation in common time scale obviously shows the interrelation between signals that characterize different systems of an organism.
Analysis uses the following data: different indices of EEG-rhythms (in a standard or custom frequency range), heart rate, spectral and statistical indices of cardiointervalogram, blood-filling parameters and great and resistive vessel tone, the time dynamics of pulse-wave propagation (correlate of arterial blood pressure), GSR parameters (correlate of emotional state), tone of muscles, frequency and amplitude of respiration, the correlation of inhalation and exhalation phases, and etc.
Doctor observes results of data processing as diagrams, tables, histograms, scattergrams, spectrograms and formalized protocols that shows all significant changes in the physiological characteristics during the study.
The export of native signals and the results of analysis to the formats ASCII and Excel for further processing is available.
The comparison of these characteristics in the continuous dynamic or during functional tests and use of interrelated information helps the doctor to diagnose more deliberately, to detect individual physiological patterns and possible psychogenic presentations, to understand the character of interrelation between different systems of organism and to perform more adequate treatment.
