The International Congress on clinical neurophysiology of the CIS, SCO, Asia and Europe

The International Congress on clinical neurophysiology of the CIS, SCO, Asia and Europe (3-6 October, 2018) has been successfully completed.

The Congress brought together delegates from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Shanghai Commonwealth Organization (SCO), such as Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, India, China, Mongolia , Iran, Ukraine and other countries.
Speakers from more than 15 countries, including the USA, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Turkey and the Netherlands, made their presentations.
Leading experts in EEG, epileptology, EMG, neurofeedback, neuromuscular pathology, evoked potentials, neurophysiology of critical conditions, as well as neurosurgery and neurorehabilitation shared their unique experiences and discussed the prospects of the industry for four days.

Master-class demonstration of the neuro-communicative complex "NeuroChat"; our company has participated in its creation. Test results for different groups of patients with speech and movement disorders were presented.

First international workshop on neurophysiology in Barranquila, Colombia

On the 22nd and 23rd of March in Barranquila, Colombia, the First international workshop on neurophysiology took place.

For more than 10 years, the GIINCO research group has been concerned about innovation and development of new technologies in medicine and has developed research in different areas of neuroscience, to become one of the main groups in Colombia (Category A1 in Colciencias), thanks to the permanent support of the University of the Coast (CUC) and the Colombian Institute of Neuropedagogy. As part of the international workshop, the theoretical-practical course of clinical neurophysiology was carried out, with the aim of showing the new technologies that are being applied worldwide, both for diagnosis and for treatment.

THEMATIC AXES of the Workshop: WHAT IS NEW FOR THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF:

1. Epilepsy.
2. Attention deficit disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
3. Parkinson's and other movement disorders.
4. Alzheimer's and other dementias.
5. Critical patient.
6. Multiple sclerosis.
7. Sleep disorders.

Dr. Svetla Velikova, external expert in the European Commission, Neuroscience Consultant in the National center for Autism in Nizhnii Novgorod (Russia) and Dr. Denis Samygin, chief of the Video-EEG laboratory of Private Medical Centre of Neurology, Epilepsy Diagnostics and Treatment "EpiCenter", member of Russian neurophysiology expert society, the branch of Russian League Against Epilepsy (Russia), Ernesto Barcelo (Colombia) opened the 1st day of the Workshop and gave a talk on Qualitative and quantitative EEG (brain mapping, QEEG): basic aspects, showing the technical aspects with the electroencephalograph-recorder "Encephalan-EERG-19/26" by Medicom MTD Ltd. The closing lecturer of the day was Ksenia Vylku, the methodologist of the Medicom MTD Ltd company, who spoke upon Polysomnography (sleep studies): equipment and indications, using our Sleep Signals Recorder “ApnOx”.

The Belarusian Medical Forum "BelarusMedica 2018" (March 27-30, Minsk)

The Belarusian Medical Forum "BelarusMedica 2018" is the largest review of the latest achievements of medical science and health care, which is traditionally attended by Belarusian and world medical and pharmaceutical industry leaders, developers of new technologies of diagnosis.

Our partners and dealers in Belarus Neuromed LLC took part in the exhibition and gave visitors of the booth an opportunity to see the equipment for functional diagnostics and rehabilitation produced by our company Medicom MTD.

XVII basic courses in electromyography and evoked potentials
(Sorrento, Italy, 17-23 March 2018)

The courses were focused on creating a basic level in clinical neurophysiology and aimed at specialists in neurology, clinical neurophysiology, pediatric neuropsychiatry and physiology, as well as at neurophysiopathology technologists.

The lectures were conducted by the leading Italian experts in this field and covered the theoretical foundations of all methods used in the modern laboratory of neurophysiology and applied to common diseases. Practical classes were conducted in accredited laboratories and were divided into general (with a demonstration by an expert) and group (with studies performed by students independently under the supervision of a specialist). A significant part of the classes was devoted to the review of the medical devices presented on the course, as well as to a collegial discussion of clinical cases in accordance with the role play methodology for the interactive study of the integration of clinical and electrophysiological data.

The course was accredited by ECM (Educazione continua in medicina - Continuing medical education).

The Vth FORUM SLEEP-2018



The Vth FORUM SLEEP-2018 took place in Moscow from March 15 to 17, 2018.

The Vth FORUM SLEEP-2018 is the unique meeting offering comprehensive approach to investigation and treatment of sleep disorders. It comprises specialist of different specializations deeply interested in the problem of sleep.

The focus of the Forum covered sleep disorders and sleep-related areas of cardiology, neurology and psychiatry, physiology, obesity and diabetes, otolaryngology and pediatrics. The official program of the Vth FORUM SLEEP-2018 comprised scientific researches and round tables for discussing pressing issues, acute problems and perspective development of somnology in Russia.

The aim of the FORUM SLEEP- 2018 is to support the exchange of knowledge among scientific community, to implement innovative technologies, to organize new laboratories, to establish new contacts.

Within the framework of the Forum, an exhibition of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals was held, in which our company took part and demonstrated equipment for polysomnography, including our latest development – Sleep signals recorder "ApnOx".

IV Russian Conference "Clinical Sleep Medicine"

IV Russian Conference "Clinical Sleep Medicine" for somnologists, therapists, otorhinolaryngologists, cardiologists, pediatricians, neurologists, family doctors and other physicians engaged in and interested in sleep medicine took place in Moscow from February 16 to 17, 2018.

The conference focused on the discussion of new clinical guidelines developed by Russian Society of Somnologists (RSS) for the diagnosis and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.

Held on the second day of the conference in the Central State Medical Academy, educational seminars on the diagnosis and treatment of sleep respiratory disorders ensured the important paradigm developed by RSS – the formation of new professional skills of various specialties doctors in sleep medicine.

Within the framework of the Conference, an exhibition of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals was held, in which our company took part and demonstrated polysomnographs for sleep disorders diagnostics.

Arab Health is the largest gathering of healthcare and trade professionals in the MENA region. The 2018 edition of the event is welcomed more than 4,400 exhibiting companies and 70,000 professional attendees from 70 countries. Accompanying the exhibition was a number of business, leadership and Continuing Medical Education (CME) conferences providing the very latest updates and insights into cutting edge procedures, techniques and skills.

Medicom MTD presented its equipment for neurophysiology and functional diagnostics. The visitors of the booth had an opportunity to communicate with our specialist and see our devices in operating mode, discuss their features and technical characteristics.
