Cerebral functions monitor "EncephalanCFM" is an ideal instrument for continuous dynamic analysis of brain activity, which effectively supplements systems of vitalparameters monitoring.
Cerebral functions monitor (CFM) "EncephalanCFM" provides longterm EEG monitoring, calculating and representing trends of amplitudeintegrated EEG (aEEG), density spectral array (DSA), compressed spectral array (CSA) together with trends of median power frequency (MPF), spectral edge frequency (SEF) and other CNS quantitative indices as well as raw EEG signal.
CFM displays the dynamics of EEG amplitude during continuous studies in a compressed form and allows a doctor to evaluate the evidence of hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), sleep/wake cycling, to detect paroxysmal activity and predict neurological outcome in neonatology. CFM also provides information on duration, intensity and frequency of neonatal seizures, which may be helpful in diagnosis and treatment.

Electroencephalograph-recorder in telemetric (attended) mode designed for both stationary and mobile use in neurophysiology room, ICU, medical ward, patient's place (at home, during sleep, etc.), ambulance, etc.
Stationary use
For routine EEG studies with functional tests (phonophotostimulation) in the rooms of functional diagnostics and neurophysiology,
insert ABP-26 into connector EEG-20, which allows using EEG electrodes of different types with touchproof connector (cup or bridge)
or electrode system with cloth caps from the set of EEG electrodes ES-EEG-10/20 Encephalan-ES.
Mobile use
Mobile use
For EEG studies in a hospital bed, ICU or other medical departments, in ambulance or at patient's home,
the patient transceiver-recorder ABP can be used in mobile mode. In this case, the required equipment will be consisted of
a patient transceiver-recorder, phonophotostimulator, a set of electrodes, portable PC and can be easily fitted into
a compact bag like laptop case.

Holter-type EEG studies
Continuous EEG study is recommended for differential diagnostics of epilepsy (especially for irregular and ill-defined seizures during natural behavior, including night ones), for specifying the diagnosis in other pathological states - paroxysmal states of non-epileptic character, syncopal states, psychogenic disorders, etc. All data are recorded on internal flash card (up to 72 hours). Specialized voice recorder combined with event marker provides digital events logging by the patient. Additional wireless units with sensors can be used, for example, for EEG/PSG study. Innovative technology of autonomous EEGmonitoring combined with telemetric EEGstudies with periodic functional test (photo-stimulation, hyperventilation, etc.).

Software provides accurate synchronization and storage of EEG, video and audio data and markers. It includes tools for quick navigation through recorded video and EEG fragments, their playback at different speed and frame-by-frame, detecting of epiphenomena for analysis and reporting. EEG, audio and video data can be exported to portable storage (HDD, DVD, USB flash drive, etc.) including autonomous "EEG Viewer" application (provides main tools for EEG analysis) for the third party experts. EEG electrodes of this electrode set are specially fixed and positioned at the specific attachment slots on the fixing elastic net cap. Electrode and a corresponding fixing slot are of the same colour. Each electrode has a conductor of a specified length from the concentrator. Conductors are grouped by left and right hemispheres, by forehead and back of the head for comfortable distribution.

Various versions of polysomnographs provide different types of polysomnographic studies from autonomous (unattended, ambulatory) study at the patient's home to expert class clinical sleep laboratory for diagnostics of general sleep disorders, sleeprelated respiratory disorders, accompanying cardio-vascular diseases, neurological and psychosomatic disorders.
Polysomnographic (PSG) studies are conducted to examine patient's sleep structure, to define sleep/wake cycle disorders, and also sleeprelated diseases and disorders.
PSG study allows to defining and evaluating sleep structure and corresponding sleep disorders, respiratory and movement disorders (chronical obstructive diseases of airways and lungs, central apnea, restless legs syndrome, etc.), disorders in cardiovascular system activity (heart rhythm disorders, ischemic disorders), and presence and intensity of epileptiform activity in sleep.
During PSG study the following can be continuously recorded: EEG (from 2 to 20 derivations), EOG (by 2 derivations), EMG (1 or more derivations), ECG (1 or 3 derivations), respiration parameters (abdominal and thoracic respiratory effort, respiration airflows by oral and/or oronasal sensors), snore, movement activity (wireless movement sensors and/or EMG sensors attached onto corresponding muscles groups), oxygen saturation and other parameters, depending on system configuration. Digital synchronized EEGvideo is available in mobile and stationary kits, with up to 4 network HQ, digital, PTZ, night vision cameras.
