The high status of the event ensures the presence of a large number of top management representatives. According to last year, 93% of visitors have the right to make decisions.

MEDICA 2014 was carried out for the 46th time and impressed guests and participants with its scale. 4,500 participants from 70 countries exhibited in 17 halls with a total area of 115,000 square meters.

Annual participation in MEDICA is very important for "Medicom MTD". We always pay close attention to all recent medical innovations. MEDICA is an opportunity for us to share the experience with foreign colleagues and get new ideas and trends in order to apply them to our manufacturing.

Commerce is no less important component of exhibition activity. At the exhibition, our staff members find potential customers and partners, and communicate with the users of our devices and software. Exhibitors and visitors gathered in Dusseldorf from all over the world. This year, our company established business relations with the specialists from Argentina, Germany, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Italy, China and Taiwan. We were glad to discuss both operation and update features of the established products and our new diagnostic equipment:

We are grateful to those who helped us in the event implementation, visit our stand and have been working with us for so many years.

Physiology Department at the Institute of Arid Zones, Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, has carried out a scientific expedition in the Caucasus mountains (Mount Musat-Cherie, 3012 meters above sea level) led by Eugeny Verbitsky, Doctor of Biological Sciences, professor (head of the Physiology Department) and Victor Voynov, Doctor of Biological Sciences (leading researcher of the Physiology Department).

The aim of the expedition was to study of mechanisms of high-altitude adaptation in humans by taking into account the effect of acute adaptation to high-altitude hypoxia on night’s sleep phenomena.

Portable electroencephalograph-recorder "Encephalan-EEGR-19/26" for EEG recording via 19 channels with additional wireless modules for synchronous recording of respiration parameters and different physiological signals was used in the study.

Interesting experimental data, which will be analyzed by scientists by means of "Encephalan-PSG" Software, were obtained in the expedition.
